3. Movie Screening and Forum: Suffragette (2015)

The School of Education of Trinity College Dublin, Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences are today honouring the International Women’s Day with the screening of one fierce, powerful and moving film, Suffragette.

While harsh but very realistic (don’t forget it is based on actual historic facts) the movie shows the struggles of them who fought for Women’s rights by even risking their lives for equality.

After the film an open forum for comments will be held. Do not hesitate to rise your hand and intervene, I am sure you will be surprised to hear and discuss other perceptions and ideas!
